This is a small mod that adds small versions of the 117 core game blocks. When placing these blocks you can place more than one of the same type within a blocks area, allowing you to, in a small way, "design" a block.
This mod is survival friendly.
The crafting recipes for the small blocks is simply 2 of a block placed diagonally, anywhere in a crafting grid.
The small blocks can also be crafted back into their original block by placing 8 of the small block anywhere in the crafting grid. This recipe does NOT operate the same as minecraft's regular recipes, in which the items can be stacked into a single slot.
Additional things:
• If the block outputs light, the intensity of the light is dependant on the volume of the block.
• Similarly, if the block has a redstone output, the power of the output is dependant on the volume of the block.
• Most properties of the original block are copied (including: tool required for collecting, break speed, explosion resistance, enviromental tinting)
• If you are using a resource pack that changes the textures and or names of the core blocks, this mod should also be affected accordingly. (changing the original blocks model will NOT affect this mod's blocks)
Known issues:
• sometimes if a block that emits light is placed/broken too rapidly the game will crash.
• having too many of the small blocks within a chunk will cause small frame drops when placing/breaking new ones.
• due to the number of blocks and possible shapes the game will take extra time to start and may temporarily freeze
