Turn out there is some breaking change in 1.16 release.
This update should make the datapack actually work in 1.16 and this update also supports new nether doors as well.

this datapack is so simple yet so overdue! Double Doors just looks so right, i'll be using this datapack as often as i can.

Works perfectly on my 1.16.3 Paper server! Is ther any chance you could add wooden trapdoors? For example, two or three trapdoors in a radius of the one we click?

This does not work for me at all on 1.16.1 :( The doors behave as if I did not have the datapack installed. Anyone know a fix?

You need to re-place the door in order to make the datapack recognize the door.

Weirdly enough what made it work for me was just placing one new door on the map. Et voila suddenly all the other doors worked too! Thank you very much, this Datapack is awesome! PS: I do not mind the particles whatsoever! Actually kind of like them.

Is this just me? Opening a double door has a brief block breaking particle explosion on the opposite top door that you click.

Not just you. Change made in 1.16 cause this to happen.
