Best way to hide a secret base --> Under Floating Sand/Gravel!

If you want sand or gravel that doesn't fall, all it takes is collecting sand or gravel, and putting it in your crafting inventory.
It will give you Floating Sand or Gravel. You can place it and break it for normal Sand or Gravel.

No other mods required.

To install, simply drag all the contents of the .zip file into Minecraft.jar

Stick normal sand into your Crafting area, or a workbench ;)

I'm a mapmaker and don't like MCedit because it's too confusing and requires lots of RAM...anyhow, if someone plays my map and doesn't have mod installed, will the sand still be floating?
Wish I could get it but when I clicked download it said page goofed up and then when I went back it said I just downloaded it but it's not in my downloads folder :(

But you know what I can do!
I can make you a mod that stops all sand from falling completely :D
It might work when someone downloads the map, but if you have a lot of floating sand, and they break one, they will all fall, so be careful there

that would be great! I'm sure other mapmakers would love a mod that makes floating sand still work in vanilla MInecraft. The mod I used to use is dead :(

It is done! I made it for you :P

You can now make a map with floating sand that will work :P

Suggestions:
When you are done, switch the maps Gamemode to adventure mode, so they can't accidentally break some sand/gravel and cause it all to fall
