This is The Cyan Mod! It adds a tier of tools and armor above netherite, called Cyan. This is the only completed part of a Dye Ores mod I'm planning, so I'll post it here now. There's also a Cyan Dimension: more on that below! As well, all these blocks, tools, and items are accessible using a Creative Tab labeled with a Cyan Bed.
All Blocks, Tools, and Items:
- Cyan Ore
- Cyan Shard
- Cyan Shard Block (crafted using 9 Cyan Shards)
- Cyan Pickaxe, Shovel, Axe, and Sword (upgraded using netherite gear and a Cyan Shard)
- Cyan Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots (upgraded using netherite gear and a Cyan Shard)
- Cyan Egg (crafted using 8 Cyan Dye and 1 Egg, restores full hunger bar but very little saturation)
- Cyan Stone (found in the Cyan Dimension, can be crafted with 1 Cyan Dye and 1 Stone)
- Cyan Bow (upgraded using a bow and a Cyan Shard, can only shoot Cyan Arrows)
- Cyan Arrow (used to shoot Cyan Bow, crafted using 8 Arrows and a Cyan Dye for 8)
World generation:
- Cyan Ore will generate in sizes equal to Diamonds between y=32 and y=0
- The Cyan Dimension will now generate!
- This is accessible using a portal that looks like a Nether Portal but is made of Cyan Shard Blocks
- This is not currently accessible in Survival Mode, as the CyanLighter is not accessible (see below)
- It generates Cyan Concrete Powder as the top layer and Cyan Stone underground
- This is also supposed to spawn Cyan Mobs, but it seems a little buggy. (more on that below as well.)
Known Issues:
- The Cyan Bow animation is broken. It appears to fire out the Cyan Arrow as an item.
- The CyanLighter is not accessible in Survival Mode, and therefore the Cyan Dimension isn't either. This is currently my highest priority bug.
- The Cyan Mob doesn't do anything and is a bit broken. I plan to remove this in a future update.
To Install:
1. Download the file from this website.
2. Download Minecraft Forge from the official site. It is important that you download the 1.16.5 version, as the mod is only compatible with this version.
3. Run the Minecraft Forge Installer you downloaded.
4. Once that is installed, open the Minecraft Launcher and switch your installation to forge. Then launch the game.
5. Once on the main menu of Minecraft, click "Mods". Then click "Open mods folder".
6. Copy The Cyan Mod v1.1.jar file to the folder you just opened.
7. Close and relaunch Minecraft, still using the forge installation.
Please leave any suggestions and/or bugs down below!

v1.1 : by osfanbuff63 10/20/2021 11:16:44 amOct 20th, 2021
Changes:
- Removed Cyan Mob, I may bring this back later.
- Added the CyanLighter recipe! 8 Cyan Dye with 1 Stick will make it.
- Added Cyan Hoe!
- Reduced enchantability to 30 instead of 70 on all tools.
Bug Fixes:
- Cyan Dimension is inaccessible in Survival Mode (you can now obtain the CyanLighter, see above!)
- Cyan Mob is very weird (fixed by removing, it never had a purpose)
