Quick Start Mod



A Mod developed for Forge Modloader Clients. This Mod features the ability to configure Minecraft to:

  • Either Start the game by default in Single Player World Selection
  • Or Start the game by default in Multi Player Server Selection
  • Or Start the game and automatically connect to a server by default
  • Or Start the game and automatically connect to a Singleplayer World by default
  • Enable / Disable Fullscreen Mode by default

Quick Installation
1) Install Forge 1.5.2-7.8.0.716
2) Place the ZIP file in the mods folder which is located inside your .minecraft folder
3) Start Minecraft. The Mod will generate a configuration file "mods/qsm/qsm_config.txt" with a default configuration.

Configuration

quickstart_enabled:true <- Enable / Disable this Modstart_in_multiplayer:true <- Start in Multiplayer or Singleplayer
autoconnect_to_world:false <- Enable Automatically connecting to a Singleplayer World
world_id:1 <- The ID of the world to connect to starting from the top of the list. Number 1 is the first one.

autoconnect_to_server:true <- Enable Automatically connecting to a server
server_address:katanaforgemmo.net <- Server address to connect to
start_fullscreen:true <- Enable / Disable Start Minecraft in fullscreen

Basically, you can change your minecraft configuration using a text new file.

For example. instead of clicking on Multiplayer and your server every time you start Minecraft, it will now do this automatically for you.

It depends. For example, I have to restart my client very often even just to test updated to my Mods. It is very useful if I don't have to select a server everytime :-).
