You'll have to wear a mask that will allow proper exploration of the caves and avoid the new side effects. Based on a Java mod, the GasMask Addon is here to complicate your cave exploration.

By adding this add-on to your world, the caves will automatically become very dangerous and almost impossible to traverse, but thanks to this gas mask you will be able to traverse it without any problems. First of all, you will need to craft the following.

These are filters and are made in the following way, it will be very important later.
Once you have the filters, you can craft the gas mask, which will help you avoid the effects of the poison and the nausea you get when entering caves from depth 44.
If you enter a cave without a gas mask, a sad fate awaits you, as it will make you nauseous and vain (it can kill you).
The gas mask will allow you to traverse the caves with ease without worrying about being affected by the negative effects that caves now cause from layer 44 onwards.
