About


This mod basically aims for more uses with diamond, gold, and iron.


craft any weapon, tool, or piece of armor with heavy ingots and make then stronger an last longer.


A heavy diamond tool can break up to 500 more blocks than a normal diamond tool.


Full Heavy items can break even more.


Crafting




You can smelt diamond, gold ingots, and iron ingots to make a heavy material of the type you smelt. You then craft three of the same materials in a line to create a heavy ingot. then use the heavy ingot just like you would a normal ingot.

I am using iron for this example, but it is the same for gold and diamond.

You can smelt diamond or any ingot to get it's heavy material.

Craft them in a line to create an ingot relative to the material.

Use the ingot like you would a normal ingot.


You can also craft sticks using the material from the smelted ore.

Use those sticks to create a full heavy item.

Installation:


Download the .rar file and extract all of it into your minecraft.jar file.


Do the same with ModLoader and it should work.


Requirements:


Your need the latest version of ModLoader


compatibility:


It most likely is not(although I haven't tested) compatible with any mod that adds new weapons or tools in, but it should work with ones that may add in new armor.

I think this is a great mod. try making it a crafting then smelting recipe for the heavy metal part so it's compatible with IC2. maybe 4 ingots/diamonds in a square and then smelt to get 4 of the heavy version?
