that's really good! there are not many lightweight tech mods on the scene. also, impressive how you've been able to make it with only a datapack

A datapack is essentially just using what features already exists in Minecraft by default. In this case, its using an entity to detect certain block placements then on match, replacing a certain block. Datapacks can be pretty powerful if utilized properly.
