Lightbulb mod 1.0.0



This mod adds a new block that is like a lightbulb but it's a light block :). It's just a white/grey block that lets out light. It gives a bit more light then a torch and it's the maximum of light possible so it's pretty bright. This isn't one of my best mods but i just thought i'd post it anyways. The crafting is in the images above. No video for this mod. Didn't think it was worth it.

Installation:


1. Download the mod
2. Download modloader
3. Drag the files from "Lightbulb mod.zip" into your minecraft.jar
4. Drag the files from modloader into your minecraft.jar
5. Run minecraft and enjoy

aweomse man, i've been looking for a damned long time for a mod which shows how to mod an extra basic mod. Because most extra block mods change the block.class, and you didn't. Ty very much man, no I finally know how to make blocks. I subbed, favorited and diamonded xD

u should make it so if the block is powered by redstone it turns on and if not it turns off

Nice mod but i have an idea for your next one
you should make it like a reskinned torch,togglable by redstone and has same light level as glowstone?

You can pretty much have the redstone torch mechanics,except for more light and power source
