This is a program that I made to help people who don't know a lot about command blocks. As of right now, I only have a book with text, name, and author. If I get enough support, I will add stuff like summon, give items, and more. Hope you like it.

Does this make any sense? I love the idea, but it really just doesn't do it for me :(

But there are some great book command generators though, such as this one right here.

I will surely keep up with the progress :P please improve. Also 1.8 would be nice.

I would totally use this if perhaps you added a way to write on specific pages. For example, the GUI would have something similar to the MC book GUI, and I could see on the screen where my text would appear in the book.

Just an idea ;)

I used this program called GameMaker by YoYo games. I made this with the free version so you can too! Just look up some tutorials. It's a great program and easy to use. Good Luck!

Nice little program, looking forward to advancements. Any idea if you plan to add a way to break the text into pages or be notified when you reach the next page?

If you want to have multiple pages, use this.
/give @p written_book 1 1 {title:text,author:"text",pages:[TagString:"page1text","page2text"]}
You can do that for up to 50 pages. I might add an option for the program to automatically do that.
For now, I'm working on give items.
