Overview


MineLoader is an installer API and GUI for mod-makers. It offers a wide set of methods needed for a mod installer, including file movers, writing of *.log files, etc. This way, the user of your mod doesn't need to constantly drag and drop folders and files.   • Creation of LOG files (To keep track of installation and to check if anything went wrong)
  • Methods for the creation, copying, and moving of files and folders
  • Methods to place directly into the desired JAR

  • This is currently in its testing stage. The release that exists now is a beta release. If you are testing it, please send me a private message to inform me of how it's working and if there is anythhing wrong.
  • This is not an all purpose mod installer, like Magic Launcher or MCPatcher. This is a tool for the creators of mods to package an installer with their mod.
  • Although labeled as for Minecraft 1.7.2, considering this installer is versatile enough to let you choose which JAR to apply it, MineLoader can currently work for any version of Minecraft.

Hey guys, sorry for the delays with MineLoader and MineLoaderCLI! I was away for Independence Day, and as a result couldn't work on them. MineLoaderCLI should be up sometime this week; Can't say when the Java version will be up, however.

Several additions made! I'm updating the website to reflect such changes. Also later today (7/4/14) I plan to release MineLoaderCLI: A command-line version of MineLoader.

In the folder that I downloaded, there were two .java files: JarUpdater.java and MineLoader.java. What do I do with them?
