This is a basic mod that changes the blocks and items shown in the Creative menu.

==INSTALLATION==
1. Download the mod
2. Open or unzip minecraft.jar with an Archiver (located at %appdata%/(roaming)/.minecraft/bin or /-Home-/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin)
3. Drag the mod files into minecraft.jar
4. Delete the folder called META-INF
5. Rezip or close your archiver
6. Run Minecraft!

In my opinion this mod is not useless, but is also useless (not useless because it changes tab textures, and it is obvious why it's useless). My point is, if you make a mod like that, at least rearrange some of the items like put diamonds and other minerals in a new tab called 'Raw Materials' or Netherrack in another tab known as 'Nether'. Without those features, the mod is pointless.

Why dont you start using forge and make new tabs. LIke extra tabs with items in them

I dont understand if you changed only the icon or the items and block contained in tabs

No only the icons displayed on the tabs but I may change the name of the tabs in a future version.

So? Its basically adds nothing useful to the game all you changed is literally like 10 words. See:

return Block.brick.blockID; Changed brick to grass.

public static final CreativeTabs tabBlock = new CreativeTabBlock(0, "buildingBlocks"); Change Building Blocks to whatever!

I don't understand why you change this? I mean why not learn forge and add new items giving these lines some use?

I was able to make a tab with Forge in one of my test mods. I am stuck on the mod_ class. I will try to add some cool stuff.
