This mod adds pretty much an unwearable helmet to the game that restores all hunger when eaten.

NOTE: Guys, this is my first Forge mod so please, be mindful of the quality of this mod.

Basically, to get the Edible Helmet, you craft a helmet with Steak, or like this:

S=Cooked Steak

So there you go!

INSTALLATION:
Client:
1. Download and install MinecraftForge
2. Run the game, then close it.
3. Go to %appdata% on WIndows, and ~/Library/Application Support/ on Mac
4. Look for the folder .minecraft on Windows and minecraft on Mac
5. Open the folder "Mods"
6. Drop EdibleHelmet.zip into the folder.
7. Run the game!
Server:
1. Download and install MinecraftForge on your server (DO NOT DELETE META-INF!)
2. Run the server, then type "stop" in the server console
3. Install MinecraftForge and this mod on your client (Instructions above)
4. Open the folder where the server is located, and open the folder "mods"
5. Drop EdibleHelmet.zip in the folder
6. Run the server!
7. Run Minecraft and connect to the server!
NOTE: For people to connect to the server, they must have MinecraftForge installed with this mod on their client!

umm... Its better to eat 5 steak (heals hunger all the way and then some) than this helmet...

This is a modding mistake, if you forget to put a texture on the item, kind of a cheap mod
