Patrix Bonus Blocks

Unofficial Fabric companion mod for Patrix's Bonus Items and Add-ons
resource packs. It adds the packs' contents as placeable Creative Mode
blocks while keeping the original resource-pack ZIP enabled and
unchanged.

What does it add? Nothing...Patrix already did that.

So what does it do?

Patrix Bonus Blocks makes 243 selectable items
available in a creative items menu tab; Patrix Bonus Pack texutres that
were once tied to vanilla block placement and Patrix Addon Items that
were hidden in block states only unlockable via the Debug Stick.

Now you don't have to wonder what's nested behind the "Don't use if
you don't know what it adds" title of the Patrix Bonus Pack.

THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PATRIX 32x.

64X OR HIGHER (ALL PACKS) ARE NEEDED FOR THIS MOD TO WORK.

Patrix Release Compatiblity:

Update 91 - 0.10.1 or higher

Update 90 - 0.10.0

Building Materials

Dedicated building families include:
    • Log Cabin
    • Concrete Wall
    • Damaged Concrete
    • Stone A
    • Stone B
    • Marble Tile
    • Roof Tiles
    • Thatch
    • Mossy Red Bricks
    • Cobblestone with Stone-Brick Corners

Many families include combinations of:
    • Full blocks
    • Slabs
    • Stairs
    • Walls
    • Carpet/thin variants

Connected-texture behavior is preserved where appropriate, including a corrected implementation for Cobblestone with Stone-Brick Corners with continuous interiors and perimeter edging.

Roads & Exterior Building

A collection of interconnected road and paving pieces is available
directly from the Creative tab, including roadway/asphalt variants
intended for larger builds and towns.

Sci-Fi & Decorative Blocks

Patrix Bonus Blocks exposes a variety of decorative content that were otherwise tied to vanilla blocks for texturing, including:
    • Sci-Fi screens
    • Thin screen/tile variants
    • Bone piles
    • Decorative shelving
    • Scroll shelves
    • Tables
    • Log piles
    • Fluorescent lighting
    • Fur blocks and carpets
    • Glyph and carved-stone variants
    • Other hidden or conditional Patrix decorations

Natural & Environmental Blocks

A large part of Patrix’s visual variety normally depends on where a block exists in the world.

Patrix Bonus Blocks provides dedicated placeable versions of many of
these environmental appearances while leaving Patrix’s natural world
behavior intact.

Examples include:
    • Rooted Forest Ground
    • Natural Sandstone
    • Natural Red Sandstone
    • Natural Terracotta variants
    • Organic Bioluminescent Growth
    • Barnacled wood planks
    • Dead Coral Stone
    • Dead Coral Gravel
    • Chunky Gravel
    • Mayan Hieroglyphs
    • Egyptian Hieroglyphs
    • Palm Logs and Wood

Natural Terracotta

Seven dedicated natural terracotta variants can be placed anywhere:
    • Natural Terracotta
    • Natural White Terracotta
    • Natural Orange Terracotta
    • Natural Light Gray Terracotta
    • Natural Yellow Terracotta
    • Natural Brown Terracotta
    • Natural Red Terracotta

These dedicated blocks retain their intended Patrix appearance regardless of biome.

At the same time, naturally occurring vanilla terracotta remains controlled by Patrix’s original Biome rules.

That distinction is intentional:

Natural terrain stays natural.
Dedicated blocks stay dedicated.

Plants & Vegetation

Patrix Bonus Blocks also makes Patrix’s environmental vegetation directly placeable, including:
    • Duckweed
    • Spanish Moss
    • Hanging Moss
    • Thick Hanging Vines
    • Swamp Cattails
    • Tropical Fern
    • Tropical Large Fern
    • Palm/Dracena Fern
    • Palm/Dracena Large Fern

The dedicated fern variants preserve Patrix’s custom geometry, variation, and coloration.

Icicles, Spikes & Natural Formations

Environmental pointed-dripstone variants are available as dedicated building pieces, including:
    • Large Icicles
    • Mossy Spikes
    • Volcanic Spikes

These can be placed directly rather than requiring the correct
environmental conditions to make Patrix transform ordinary pointed
dripstone.

Cakes

Chocolate and Strawberry Cakes are available as real CakeBlocks:
    • Chocolate Cake
    • Strawberry Cake

They can be placed normally and eaten through Minecraft’s standard cake bite states.

Food, Crates, Baskets & Bowls

Patrix Bonus Blocks makes Patrix’s food decorations directly
selectable instead of leaving their appearance to random or
biome-dependent selection.

All 16 food varieties are available as matching:
    • Food Crates
    • Food Baskets
    • Bowl 1
    • Bowl 2
    • Bowl 3

Food bowl variants support 16 placement angles at 22.5° increments, making them much easier to arrange naturally on counters, tables, market stalls, kitchens, and other detailed builds.

Available contents include Tomatoes, Orange Apples, Carrots,
Potatoes, Lemons, Lettuce, Cabbages, Cucumbers, Perch, Mackerel,
Blueberries, Red Onions, Rustic Round Loaves, Bread Rolls, Paprika, and
Salt.

Clean Mode, Legacy Mode & Compatibility Controls

Patrix uses many ordinary Minecraft blocks as carriers for Bonus content.

That is great when you want the original Patrix behavior—but it can
also mean that building with a completely normal Minecraft block
unexpectedly produces a Bonus Pack appearance.

Patrix Bonus Blocks includes compatibility controls to let you decide how those carrier conversions behave.

Global Mode

Choose between:

Clean
Keep ordinary Minecraft carrier blocks
visually clean while using dedicated Patrix Bonus Blocks items when you
actually want the Bonus appearance.

Legacy
Preserve Patrix’s original carrier-block behavior.

Changes apply through a live resource reload, so Minecraft does not need to be restarted.

Per-Feature Overrides

You can also control specific Patrix carrier behaviors individually.

Each supported feature can:
    • Follow Global
    • Use Clean behavior
    • Use Legacy behavior

Current granular controls include:
    • Mossy Red Bricks
    • Chocolate / Strawberry Cakes
    • Log Wall
    • Cobblestone with Stone-Brick Corners
    • Scroll Shelves
    • Tables
    • Animal Fur
    • Fluorescent Lighting
    • Log Pile

So you can keep the Patrix behavior you like while disabling the carrier substitutions you do not.
More granular controls being added.

Natural Patrix Generation Is Preserved

Environmental content is treated differently from builder-created carrier conversions.

Patrix Bonus Blocks does not use Clean Mode to strip Patrix’s natural biome/world variation.

Things such as natural terracotta, environmental vegetation,
biome-specific materials, barnacled wood, and other naturally occurring
Patrix effects are intended to remain part of the world.

The dedicated Patrix Bonus Blocks versions simply give builders access to those same visual families anywhere.

No Patrix Artwork Is Redistributed

Patrix Bonus Blocks is a ZIP-backed compatibility bridge.

It does not bundle or redistribute Patrix’s texture or model artwork.

Instead, the mod references the resources provided by the Patrix packs you already have installed.

This means:
    • Patrix remains the source of the artwork.
    • Patrix Bonus Blocks provides the blocks, items, registration, placement behavior, and compatibility logic.
    • Different supported Patrix resolutions continue to use their own original assets.

Requirements

Patrix Bonus Blocks is designed for the Patrix 26.2 ecosystem on Fabric.

You will need the appropriate Patrix packs enabled, including the relevant:
    • Patrix Basic
    • Patrix Items
    • Patrix Bonus Items
    • Patrix Addon/Addons content

Continuity is required client-side for the connected-texture behavior used by the Patrix resources.

A dedicated server does not need Continuity simply because Patrix Bonus Blocks is installed.

Higher-resolution Patrix packs are recommended for the intended visual experience.

Designed for Builders

The goal of Patrix Bonus Blocks is simple:

If Patrix contains something useful for building, you should
be able to select it from the Creative menu and place it intentionally.

No memorizing hidden carrier states.
No stacking unrelated blocks just to trigger a texture.
No Debug Stick workflow.
No traveling to a specific biome just to get the appearance you want.

Pick the block. Place the block. Build with it.

  Have something to say?
