I need to know how to open minecraft.jar. I got 7zip, but it won't let me open minecraft.jar with it. 7zip is downloaded and installed, but I cannot use it for anything. Someone plz tell me how to open minecraft.jar, because I couldn't figure it out for the life of me.

sorry to reply to my own comment, but I figured out how to open minecraft.jar. However, mods won't work. I deleted meta-inf and dragged the modloader folder in, but when I drag a mod in to minecraft.jar then go play minecraft the mod doesn't work. I made sure the mod was 1.1 compatible and 100% complete. The mod is apparently in use because i can't delete it without first exitting Minecraft, but I can't use the mod. Any advice? Do I just drag parts of the mod in? I'm not sure about anything mod related anymore, so I need help.

I know I have probably been a pain asking so many dumb questions. This time I ACTUALLY learned how to get mods. Just apologizing for asking so many dumb questions.

could you make this 1.1 compatible? I finally learned that mods weren't working for me because I play minecraft in brower and will now play it downloaded, and this is the mod that came to mind when i was thinking of mods to get. I've really wanted this mod ever since I saw it long ago when there were few comments and "diamonds" weren't used, just up or down lol. Anyway just plz make this 1.1 compatible, I would really appreciate it!
