Ugh, another gem mod. I'm not trying to put you down, just giving my honest opinion. The mod section on this website has really gone downhill. They are mostly things like this, useless and unoriginal. I'm sure that mod-makers can do a lot better than this, and create more amazing mods like "Tale of Kingdoms", and "Divine RPG". My advice to you, put a lot more work into you're mods, if you're planning on doing more, and give them more thought and depth. I'm sure you can do a lot better. :)

yes youre absolutely right when i making ruby ore first im gonna make a new more ores mod bu that is not original too so i am making these with some usual blocks(like=ruby copper silver and sapphire)but also theres some unusual and unique ores(like= dioptase phantominium black ruby soul sapphire monster ore and more)also there will be some useful armors(like=spaling armor leaf armor stone amor wooden armor dirt armor and more)and there will be new biomes(savannah nether but biome version lava biome water biome and more...) and maybe there will be new mobs and structures and also i will add craftable spawn eggs which adds plenty of items in game.

To be honest, this feels like another mod that adds an item just for the sake of adding a new item, without really enhancing the gameplay any. I think you should give rubies a secondary function, other than furnace fuel (which doesn't really make sense, seeing how it's a gem, therefore not really combustible to my knowledge).

Also, seeing as how it's stronger than diamond, it needs to be even more rare than diamond. Otherwise, you should weaken the durability of it to that of iron, or perhaps somewhat stronger than iron, but not as strong as diamond. The point is, it needs to be rare, or people won't even need to find diamond. They can stick with using Ruby tools. In a way, it's almost overpowered, and the mod description implies that it's easy to find, which is not a good thing.

On a side note, why not use the unused ruby item in items.png, as opposed to a recolored diamond sprite?

to be honest you are absolutely sure but when i finishedthe ruby ore i didnt think about it i just make sapphire with unused ruby ore sorry for that. also i am saying everyone can anybody send me a ore sprite like unused ruby ore. i really need that also seth youre right too but this is only a pre release but i will change some thing with ruby it also looks strange to me
