This mod adds a new ore and items made out of ruby.
Ruby ore is generated anywhere underground.
When the ore is mined, it drops a ruby which can be used to make tools and armor.
Ruby ore is lighter than redstone ore.

...he could also use the Ruby texture found in Minecraft release 1.3.1's "items.png".
