Customize your Shulker boxes to better identify and easily find them without opening every box when you have a large pile placed in your world.

Thanks for the great support for my Sea of Shulkers resource pack! I have decided to finally bring it back with this mod which finally enables server and Shulker chunk unloading/reloading :)

Sea of Shulkers doesn't replace any of the default Shulker textures/colours but allows you to create custom Shulker boxes with custom models by adding keywords to a Shulker’s name in an anvil. The keywords aren’t case sensitive and can be located anywhere in the Shulker’s name. This mod brings the new feature of supporting the display of ANY item! Whichever item in in the Shulker's first slot will be displayed on top and the items inside will be selected at random.

This mod is based on my original resource pack by the same name which depends on Optifine. That pack does not support chunk reloading or servers so this mod was designed to solve those problems. The mod is designed to be used on its own however it can be used with that resource pack to enable support for servers/shulker unloading. When used on its own the mod supports the same Shulker types as the resource pack but will automatically select the items displayed within or on the Shulker based on the Shulker's content.





First install the Fabric mod loader and launch the game once. Download the .jar for Custom Entity Models (CEM) , the Fabric API and finally the .jar for this mod and place them into the mods folder (located in your .minecraft directory).


For use on multiplayer servers install either this Fabric mod (CEM not required) or the Sea Of Shulkers Spigot plugin onto the server. If not installed then Shulkers will lose their textures when unloaded and other player's Shulker customizations wont be visible to you.



Use this configuration only if you need Optifine or prefer the resource pack version of Sea Of Shulkers and want to patch the unloading bug for single player worlds.
install the Fabric mod loader and launch the game once. Download the .jar for the Fabric API, Optfabric, Optifine and the .jar for this mod and place them into the mods folder (located in your .minecraft directory).

Finally launch the game, drop the Sea Of Shulkers Resource Pack into your resource packs folder and enable it!
