The Data pack was created by myself this only works For Minecraft version 1.14+
the data pack does not just work in Vanilla but also works inside Servers.
Yes! Servers!
So what data-pack includes
- Functions To Get or Obtain Minecraft Spawners.
- Ability To Place Spawners. (Defaults to Pig).
- Ability to Break or Mine Spawners with Silktouch 1 (customizable)
- Ability to Craft Spawn eggs. When you Right click a Spawner it will have that Mob Ready to spawn.
- If broken by a non-enchanted pickaxe you get 3 iron_bars (customizable).
- Includes Minecraft Translations; What does this mean? It means any language (images show more).
- Light Weight; I Say Light because its only like what 97kb (The Folder).
The File That lets you silk touch mine Spawners is like 3kb the rest is just Features.
- Xp when breaking Spawners. (i could not find to disable this every time you mine a spawner).
- Functions Contain or have 59 Different mob Spawners.

Let me just list the Changed, and Added things.

- Lectern is now a Book for crafting Recipe.
- Crafting Recipes have changed (just 2) so you can check the image I created.
Added:
- Advancements(Achievements)
Before we just had that they shows up once you had the recipe, now the "L" Key works and you can see them.
- Added Support For all the Spawn Eggs. Delete the "Advancements" and "Recipes" if you don't want them.

I found the datapack very good, but it has a defect that can ruin the player experience,when I break the spawner with a silk touch, I get the xp.
If I put the block and break it countless times I will have infinite xp.
Is there a way to fix this?
Honestly if you feel the need. If YOU can find something go for it.
Hopefully you Read the Disclaimer in red, and orange... some green... then the Ending.
1: So If you're in Vanilla (survival) and not in creative it transforms it into a pig Spawner.
2: If You're not Opped and in survival Server it will also not drop it.(spigot)
I feel like there is a permission that lets you do or place blocks with NBT tags.
But is connected to Minecraft.

I will fix this. i "Think" I know how....
Edit: Seems more like a Minecraft Problem (with Permissions).
an Op Player can place it, a Survival player can't (Not Opped).
I've left comments on the prominent bug reports and feature requests for this to be fixed. Doubt it will be though.
I started on a possible work-around yesterday, where you save the spawner nbt to another entity when it's the SelectedItem and then update the spawner after placement.
But that's a lot more complex than I'd like for something that should be so simple now, and there's already other packs that do larger workarounds. But if you've got the time and motivation to work out something nice that would be awesome.
things i noticed.
Note: This is In Survival (deopped if in server) were it "Does not seem to work"
1: Once you break the Spawner The Item that is dropped still contains the NBT(spawner Item).
2: once you place it this does not add the Data (idk if permissions or something).
What i was thinking is getting the Information from the Player that is holding the item then placing it but Merging or adding the Important NBT's. Which i tried the path's but I hit some spots were Idk what to do to go more into detail.
Like i said i feel like this has to do with permissions, because of how Hack clients, can add NBT i think and Minecraft's Thinking.
but i hit a Beautiful Point. xD
