A simple plugin that I developed to filter what players can say in the chat. All restricted words are stored in a line break delimited text file. This is my first Bukkit Mod. Its running on my server currently if you wish to come test (minecraft.jameswarner.us).

Usage is:
/wf add [word]
or
/wf remove [word]

Known bugs:

-Any /msg messages are not filtered


-Players can bypass filter by using words like @ instead of 'a'


-No bypass for admins

Can I use it even if the server doesn't have it as a plugin? If I can install it as a mod, could you tell me how?

This is basically only useful for a server where a child is likely to end up playing.
Not exactly useful for a server in which people rarely expect a child to randomly join.

Hey fix, on your server Ive just reworked the configs, you should really update world filter and I found a bug, sometimes it prevents people from saying anything though you can override it by using /f chat [f or a] though only if you have factions and you have to be in the faction or allies with it.

Install the plugin on your Bukkit server, type reload into its console (or /reload in game) and then add the words to be filtered like /wf add *insert word here*
