Smelting Plus is a simple addon for Minecraft Bedrock and a mod for Minecraft Java (Fabric and Forge) that allows for better recycling when you melt your found or crafted items. Instead of only receiving a gold or iron nugget, you will now receive an ingot.

Install this addon on your world easily and recover one ingot from each tool or armor. It is also possible to melt diamond and netherite items. Works with furnace and blast furnace.

This is a really cool addon, but I noticed a slight balancing problem. The rail crafting recipe is 6 iron ingots and 1 stick for 16 rails. If you can smelt all 16 rails for 1 ingot each, you can effectively more than double your iron ingots with the cost of 1 stick and 16 items worth of fuel. Iron farms are relatively cheap in both versions, and using this multiple times over requires crafting, making it less automatic than iron farms, but it still seems a bit unbalanced to turn 6 ingots into 16 just by hammering them into rails and burning them.

I would also like to suggest a recipe to smelt lodestones into netherite ingots.

Great job on this pack! I found it very useful.

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for informing me about the rail. I made a correction in the last update. You will now receive 1 nugget instead of ingot.

The first download link is for Minecraft Bedrock. You need to install the MCPACK file and then activate the addon in Behavior Packs. On the download page there is a simple tutorial.
