This mod add new item. This item automatically smelts all blocks that are going to burn and drop fired item. Item Item destroys like diamond pickaxe and its durability is 101.

If the pickaxe can mine at the same level as a diamond pickaxe, shouldn't it use diamonds in the recipe. Otherwise, people would create it to gather obsidian, instead of an actual diamond one. A more balanced alternative may be to have the recipe quite costly, for example diamond and coal blocks, and then to give it an infinite durability; the catch would be an inability to mine with it unless their is fuel in the inventory to consume.

What about using blaze rods instead of sticks?

I see it being more of an issue of short term input for long term output. It would be better as a small continues input for output over a long term.
