No, it isn't.

All items and blocks in the game are given separate IDs.

For you to add more blocks or items to the game, you would therefore need more block IDs, and adding more would require you to 'mod' the game.

just curious, do u get this from teh tutorial from MinecraftArt on youtube?
because he had a tut on maeking Smoothtools, and they also were a bit stronger then stone :P
