The mod and map are still underway! No need to worry. I have made the decision however to make the map much much larger than I was originally planning. The scale of the island in the actual movie is sort of unimaginably massive so in order to create something that will both add to the realism and still be fun to play on in Minecraft, I have decided to make the island 1:2 scale. Just for reference the island will now span across a whopping 20 level 4 in game Minecraft maps! This of course requires some modification to what I originally have created but there will be no need for a 100% hard restart.

I know that the out of the fog mod was trying to do something like this but that ended a long time ago. Good to see theres people into this still

Yea I was actually following them for like 3 years hoping it would get done. Unfortunately there was issues with finding a coder. I am brand new to coding but I offered my services anyways and they didn't really seem interested. I even said I would do it for free but they still didn't want to. I just need a mod for my map so I had to start one myself! I'm completly fine with this and I'm really learning sooooo much!!!
