This mod makes flying round the map so much easier.

Now for 1.3.2!

Just like sprinting on the ground, if you double tap the "w" key while flying then you go faster. Not 2 times as fast like on the ground, but 6 times as fast, letting you go from one end of the map to the other in under 15 seconds.

Though, because of minecrafts way of loading chunks, it is recommended that you have flown the route before because less powerful computers have trouble loading the map at such high speed.


Installation

  1. Open your minecraft.jar
  2. Delete meta-inf
  3. Drag all of the files from the download into it
Done!

If you are wondering, sprinting while flying makes you go at a phenomenal 60 blocks a second!

Having an MCForge (FML) version would be nice and allow for me to complete a map I'm making that is much bigger than the SkyChunk Challenge one, nearly 20000Ã 20000 blocks in each direction and using command blocks spawners etc. If you grab NBTEdit you can enter your player file and change the flight speed to a larger amount like 10 (normally 0.05) and it takes awhile to get from one place to another.
Please try the idea, and if you get it working kudos to you mate!

I updated it but I don't know if I should put it up because now you have to start sprinting on the ground and then start flying ... Which isn't as easy. I can post it if you want though.
