Super Mario Crafter attempts to add as much stuff for Mario map makers as possible. This mod is currently in early alpha, so if you try to use it to make a map now, it would probably damage your world once it gets updated. And I update it frequently. This mod was heavily inspired by BWGLite's romhack, SMB Peach's Adventure. In fact, the main point of this mod was so someone can remake the romhack in Minecraft.

There will be various game themes and many different level themes with currently around 200 elements worth of content, not to mention built-in CTM and Optifine support, where it only needs a resource pack with the property files to activate these textures. As of now, the only game theme is Super Mario Bros.

Recommended Mods to use with this:I also recommend you get the Minecraft - Super Mario Bros. Edition 1.16 v1.4 texture pack and/or the Super Mario Bros. Peach's Adventure romhack to show BWGLite some support.

  • Added new gamerule “Max Health” which allows you to change your max health when you’re small/regular sized. Use the commands “/maxhealthcheck”, “/maxhealthcheckglobal”, or just respawn to see changes.
  • Reworked all current Power-Ups to align with the new Max Health gamerule, and Super Mario mechanics.
  • Added new gamerule “Vanilla Power-Ups” which overhauls the power-up system to make them more vanilla friendly.
  • Added new gamerule “Power-Up Tick Length” which allows you to configure the time that power-ups last, and it’s already at the max amount of ticks by default (doesn’t affect potions or the Super Star).
  • Added new gamerule “Keep Super Mushroom” which allows you to keep the Super Mushroom effect if you lose another power-up. It's true by default.
  • Added new gamerule “Small Respawn” which allows you to respawn as half of your original height.
  • Fixed the Fire Ball count not going down after use.
  • Changed the Fire Ball animation to a block since it looks huge in third-person.
  • Fixed some mechanics for the Fire Flower that I wanted to add.
  • Reworked the Super Mushroom to max your health.
  • Fixed Rotten Mushroom to remove one Mario Power-Up at a time.
  • Added new gamerule “Keep Super Mushroom” where when you lose a power-up, you keep the mushroom. If it’s false, you’ll lose the Super Mushroom at half of your health, and Rotten Mushrooms will immediately remove the Super Mushroom along with your other power-up.
  • Fixed POW Blocks to have a power of 24, and not hurt the player when activated.
  • Added SMB-Styled Super Hammer. You can break any block with this as of now. Might be changed in the future. And press R to yeet crates, or, if you’re a player, yeet player crates.
  • Added Player Crates, which are crates that only specific players can open.
  • Added Blue Coins which show up and are collected when you activate a P-Switch.
  • Added Ice Blocks and Shiny Ice Blocks.
  • Red POW Blocks now break surrounding blocks in Survival.
  • Added ModelBlock and ModelBlaze. Both are unused, but once I can get this mod working with GitHub, you can use these models for yourself.
  • Added Corrupted and Jittering Underground Blocks.
  • Added Underground-Styled Brick Blocks.
  • Removed Clear SMB Water. It still has the water tint which kind of defeats the purpose of it.
  • Testing experimental rotation with Small Pipe.
  • Added Ground Blocks for all themes in Super Mario Maker 2 from SMB (not yet including Night).
  • Added separate CTM supported Connected Blocks for both Grass-Covered Ground Blocks.
  • Fixed Tinted Grass-Covered Underground-Styled Ground Block item.
  • Added Key Doors.
  • Made all current doors unbreakable.
  • Made some current ground blocks unbreakable.
  • Added drinkable tea.
  • Added Castle Brick Background.
  • Added invisible lava.
  • Made table and chair waterloggable.
  • Turned the Ground-Styled floor into a full block. So you will need a mod that can turn it into a slab.
  • Changed the models of the water waves backgrounds to panes for easier use. You may need the debug stick for unwanted connecting parts.
  • Changed the material property of the water wave backgrounds.
  • Added lava waves.
  • Added SMB-Styled Lava.

Right, should've specified it should be compatible for 1.16.2 through 5. I haven't tested it out in other versions yet, but it should definitely work in 1.16.5.
