This is my first datapack, Im not really skilled at coding, so I just went with something simple. I added 1 new mob into minecraft
it's basically a "Stronger Spider". The Tarantula

The Tarantula can give you a wither effect when you are near it. And it can move much faster than a regular spider.

The tarantula has 50 hp and can deal quite a large amount of damage

The tarantula replaces a spider when it spawns below y=36

this is to make diamond hunting slightly more difficult

[​I do not plan on fixing any "bugs" in this datapack, it is just me testing out datapack mechanics.]

Extra information:
The tarantulas drop 3 string, a spider eye, and 1 tarantula silk. You can throw 2 tarantula silk and an apple on the ground to get a "Silky Apple" which has the same properties as the normal golden apple.

I have installed both packs for the tarantula but all i see is an emerald can you fix this Thank You

Hmm, are you sure you downloaded the resourcepack zip file and transferred it to the "resourcepacks" file? or maybe you are using 1.13 or a 1.14 snapshot. I will double check to see if the resourcepack works.

Must just be your problem, the resourcepack works fine. But I did discover that I spelled "Tarantulas" wrongly.
