maybe make a heat bar that is like a under-water bar but just much slower, it goes down if you walk in the sun and it goes up if you walk in the shadow.

Maybe you could make this a new dimension, like making a portal frame out of sandstone and lighting it with fire.

I like the heat bar idea. I've been told the desert can get pretty low, so you could risk the heat in the day, and the cold in the night. Also, if one gets too hot, you could get negative effects, like nausea(sort of mimicking heatstroke, I guess).

clothes like a hat and blouses, and maybe underground water resources where you can get water, and a sack out of leather or the cows prostate(new item), there also have to be snake where if you kill them you can eat and if you eat it you hold the skin, in that skin you can hold water.
