Before you say anything, I hate simple, boring tool mods too, and that's why mine has more of a chain of progression and goal to it than to "make the ruby pickaxe." The tool types are tiered and given values based on this mentality.

This adds several new tool/armour types.

Obsidian- Instant mining of ALMOST ANYTHING (and slow mining of bedrock), but ONLY 3 USES!
Bedrock- Same properties as obsidian tools, but breaks in 32 uses, and breaks bedrock faster.
Bedrock alloy- Breaks bedrock almost instantly. Has 512 uses. Craft a bedrock alloy with a diamond in the center, 4 iron on the sides, and 4 bedrock in the corners.
Compressed bedrock alloy- Breaks ANYTHING instantly. has 32,768 uses. Craft 4 bedrock for a compressed bedrock block (truly unbreakable). Then place a diamond BLOCK in the center, four iron BLOCKS on the sides, and four COMPRESSED bedrock in the corners.

Note that you cannot make hoes or armour out of bedrock or obsidian.
