A traditional mod that adds Zombie Chickens and a couple other mobs to the game. This mod does not use ModLoader or Forge. I did the coding, and my 5 year old son helped with the Zombie Chicken texture. This is single player only I didn't modify any server code (yet!)

Zombie Chickens
Vampire Bats
HEROWARD

Version 4.11:
Fixed zombies not attacking chickens
1.4.7 compatibility

Version 4.1:
Heroward only spawns at night.
Heroward burns during the day.

Version 4.0:
Introducing Heroward
When right clicking a villager there is a 1% chance you will meet Heroward
Be sure you have a sword

Version 3.5:
Added Zombie Chicken Eggs
Similar to regular chicken eggs, but produces Zombie Chickens
Zombie Chickens lay these instead of regular eggs

Version 3.1:
Bats have fixed attack AI. They now fly around while attacking!


Version 3:
Zombie Chickens will now spawn naturally. This was broken in version 2.
Added Vampire Bats!
Vampire Bats are vicious beasts that attack anything in sight.
Vampire Bats have what I call "Interesting Drops" Kill a few you will see. I will publish the loot matrix eventually.

Version 2:
Zombies now prefer to attack Chickens over Players when in survival mode.
Zombie Chickens have increased damage.
Zombie Chickens will pillage villages.
Zombie Chickens will attack villagers.
Zombie Chickens will break doors like regular Zombies.
Rotten flesh will tame a Zombie Chicken - but only while you have it out.

Version 1:
Zombies attack Chickens on sight.
When a zombie kills a chicken there is a 100% chance to turn it into a Zombie Chicken.
Zombie Chickens are hostile mobs and WILL attack the player on sight.
Zombie Chickens have increased chance to spawn regular eggs.
Zombie Chickens drop rotten flesh instead of chicken meat.
Zombie Chickens drop one extra feather.
Otherwise Zombie Chickens have all the normal behavior of a regular chicken - except mating.

I have no idea on compatibility with other mods, but I suspect there may be ID conflict if you install other mods that also add custom monsters.

Installation instructions:
1) Get fresh minecraft.jar by forcing update.
2) Delete META-INF folder from minecraft.jar
3) Extract ZombieChickens.zip file into the minecraft.jar
4) Play!

Found the mod in a kinda broken state so gave it a once over and re-released it, nothing new!

Erm, I try the easy installation thing, and it says "Application can't be launched. Contact download vendor." What do I do, cause I really want this mod
