I’m new and I would like to know who identifies as what maybe?

Jason is a high-school student who has been playing Minecraft for some time now. More specifically modded Minecraft. He also plays with his friends, but unfortunately they have gone off holiday for a few weeks. Whilst they were gone, Jason decided to get on his laptop and gather some mods to play and create a private world. So, he began searching on curseforge and other popular mod pages for cool and realistic mods to play with. He wanted something light weight that would enhance his visual, within his findings, he found a mod that looked perfect from the pictures being shown, however the name of the mod was untranslatable to him. So, he went on and translated the name of the mod from Russian to English, the name was very fathoming and very strange, being “Vanishes once seen”. Although the strange name, he yet has gone ahead and downloaded the mod. It had lots of positive reviews and people saying, “It changes how you view the world” (although all being written in Russian). The mod finally downloaded and put in to the ‘mod’ folder. He began running Minecraft and finally created the world. Once he finally loaded in, he was greeted with a message on the screen with a simple cross. He continued anyway and the mod did not disappoint. He started exploring the world and began Minecraft as one does. For the first few days, everything felt normal, the mod did not disappoint and improved the visuals quite a lot.

However, unbeknownst to him, he wasn’t alone. There is someone else inside this world who’s taking its time, studying the player movements and behavior. On the first day, nothing happened, it was your typical first Minecraft day. The next day things got weird, things felt wrong. Upon getting on, he went to hunt animals to replenish his hunger, whilst he was successful, it wasn’t in the way he expects it to be. In a chunk render of 12, all nearby animals were already slaughtered without the player or anything engaging. He continued playing but something about it did not feel right, it’s as if he was NOT supposed to play and continue. He came up with a couple of theories of what could have killed those animals and came with the conclusion that it could have been a simple glitch.



While going in caves he noticed the lack of hostile mobs, in every corner he has gone through, there was nothing. He got the ores he needed and materials to craft some armour and just went with it as if nothing was wrong. Third day rose and he logged back on. This time things were more different than ever before, chunks were missing, a whole 32x by 32x were gone.



However, he can’t help and notice that there was a sign at the bottom with a door just below it. He went back to his house to smelt some iron to craft a bucket, but when he looked back, he saw someone right outside of his windows that immediately disappeared. He told his friends of the encounter, but they did not believe him and told him “Record it”, so he did as he was told so and went back to the chunk error. He placed water and began descending towards it. He was shocked to find out that the sign had something written on it, being “You see me?”. He opened the door that was just below the sign and opened it, there was just a simple redstone torch with a distorted Steve head. He climbed back up and decided to send the footage to his friend and therefore closed Minecraft. However, when doing so he noticed something that put shivers down his spine, not only the recording became corrupt and now inaccessible, but the wallpaper of his PC has dramatically changed with violent imagery a deeply distorted, glitching Steve with an unsettling, wide smile and completely pitch-black eyes staring directly out of the screen.

He opened Minecraft back on and began re-entering the world this time there was a sign right where he logged out saying “Sometimes God take the life of a whole family away, and sometimes, just sometimes I do it”.



He broke the sign and decided to be more cautious and made sure to have his senses heightened up. He noticed the same Steve from before on top of a tree and like before it disappeared, but then suddenly his world became even more corrupt, the textures are all glitchy and had writings that were untranslatable to him. When it was night, he went to sleep and once he woke up, his whole world was just void. He was somehow standing and yet doesn’t know on what, and then. He turned around and saw the creature who was charging right at him, he was completely frozen, any key he pressed wouldn’t work. The creature then disappeared and looked behind and was met with his face right on his screen with eerie noise, a quote saying, “The Red Room awaits”. Then his Minecraft crashed with “ERROR 529 – Entity Not Allowed”. He tried to go back on the world, but it was gone, so was the mod. He didn’t even uninstall it, it was just gone, no human action needed. He immediately went to the page where he downloaded the mod in the first place but met with a 404 error, the mod was gone entirely.

Im not progressing in future funk at all for some reason. I might quit. I started playing mikumikumikumiku and its kinda fun so i might beat it before future funk
