Hid in the middle of the ocean, where no one has stepped on earth before, there is a small island,where legends tell that the treasure that every pirate wants to possess is found: a long life in peace.

Every person who believed in those tales has never returned back. Every ship that left port in search of this island has disappeared, and never seen again.

Every soul of a pirate who has left us, travels to a remote island, which they call the Skull bay.






In this map, you will find the secrets of the sea, the pirate's afterlife and an island full of life and death.
Explore this volcanic island with the steps of hundreds of pirates generations, discover the destiny of those ships, and discover the fate of the pirates.







Hi everyone! After this little introduction, I want to show you one of my best maps. When I was a kid, I remember drawing a mountain with the shape of a skull, and a pirate ship aproximating it. I didn't know what was inside of that thing, but I really liked my piece of art.

So when I saw the theme of this contest, I knew inmediately what to do. I remembered that piece of paper, so i went to my parents house, found it and took it to my house. I studied it and made a little sketch of how I would exactly create it in the game.
I first opened world painter and experimented with different shapes of islands. I wanted a big volcano, inside of a valley, with enough space to build a pirate village, and I definitely wanted to give my island a very sinister look.

And that's what I basically did! I started with the big skull, one of the most difficult things in my opinion. Then I just kept adding structures and details until it was done.

I'm pretty happy with the result. I've been working this whole month in this map. So I hope you appreciate my effort, and of course, hope you like it!



Gamemode: doesn't matter, altough I recommend you to play in creative mode to appreciate all the details, you can completely play it in survival!
NOTE: If you can't set the gamemode to creative, open the world in LAN and activate the cheats!
