The oldest, and most iconic, locomotive museum at Travel Town!
Stockton Terminal and Eastern No. 1 was built in 1864 by Norris-Lancaster for the first Western Pacific Railroad. She is a typical example of classic 4-4-0 "American" locomotive of wild west fame. Serving various railroads, she was sold to her final revenue service owner. the Stockton Terminal and Eastern Railroad (STE) of San Joaquin County, California, in 1914 where she served until 1953. Upon her retirement after nearly 90 years of service. she was donated to the museum.
