With the magic of the Latest Snapshots of 1.9 (And some help from Makar), I have recreated the Deku Leaf from the Windwaker in Vanilla Minecraft! This One Command Mod also includes fans that you can use to propel yourself up while using the Deku Leaf. To get the command, click on Minecraft World Save for the Text File, or Pastebin.
Crafting:
To Craft the materials, toss the items onto the top of a crafting table.
1 Deku Leaf-
-3 Leaves
-2 Vines
-1 Blaze Rod
2 Fans-
-1 Blaze Rod
-1 Diamond
To activate the deku leaf, you must be in mid air. When in mid air, you just toss the deku leaf in the direction you are moving, and it will activate. You will slowly glide down towards the ground and you can move around in different directions until you land. If you go over a fan, you will be lifted up into the air. A single fan doesn't have much lift, but if you put multiple fans together, you will be lifted higher. You can break the block that the fan is on to get the fan back.
The Deku Leaf can be used to get to faraway surfaces and to use as a parachute if you are about to take fall damage. The deku leaf will prevent all fall damage.

This only works in the latest 1.9 snapshots starting at 15w31c. It will not work in Minecraft 1.8. The installation is the same as any other one command creation. Just put a command block and paste the command inside. Then power the block.
