2001 Discovery One Spacecraft | 1:1 Scale

This is the Discovery One spacecraft built in Minecraft. This is my attempt at creating the most accurate depiction of the Discovery One spacecraft that I could in Minecraft. The Discovery One is the setting for the majority of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, which happens to be my favorite movie of all time! The Discovery One features a pod bay, cockpit, bathroom, pod bay warehouse, HAL 9000 logic center, hub, exterior airlock, storage room and the famous centrifuge area. My version was built over the course of 10 hours. The spacecraft is 142 blocks long,16 blocks wide and 22 blocks high. I hope that you enjoy this replica of the 2001 Discovery One Spacecraft!
