In this project I have built 6 really existing beach resorts (slightly modifying them with respect to reality) and which are located near where I live in real life.
To avoid seeing the super flat terrain it is advisable to set the render distance to 8 chunks, and also it is highly recommended to use the Mine1989 Official Resource Pack because otherwise some block colors won't be right.
