7 Segment Automatic Display Changing Digits 0-9

Today, I've got a 7 segment display (0-9 that has 2 settings:
1.Automatically  cycle through digits 0 - 9 
2.You can chose to manually switch digits at your own speed.
This redstone device has piston array memory embedded into it which contains blocks; either cyan stained clay, or glass being cycled around in a loop by pistons. The device knows what to display because the stained clay WILL send power through is and into the encoder and the glass WILL NOT.
