Hmmm, it's just an illusion. It's supposed to be 3 blocks long. Since the block below the nose overlaps the front block means you think the top block is also vertically parallel to the bottom block. No, in all screenshots the nose is the same length, 2 blocks. It must be minecraft stretching the view at the side. Also, in the first render, the angle made it look like the block was shorter because of the way Cinema4D works.
