890 Jump
Hi everyone this is one of my older projects I made this a couple of weeks after creating the aurora. I'm quite a big fan of the star citizen game, And when I saw this craft I immediately wanted to recreate it in Minecraft, It is a lot smaller than most of my normal builds, and later on, I did find making some of the compartments a bit cramped but I came to like this ship design.
Now as a disclaimer of sorts THIS IS NOT IDENTICAL, I started off with the main shape and worked on the interior going off how I wished it to do it.
So the 890 JUMP as the star citizen website explains is a luxury people transport vehicle and I hope that my design reflects this, I tried to make it as premium as I could, so normally I would use stone bricks or quartz as a floor, I worked with oak and spruce, to make it feel more homely, of course, this excludes the bridge which is a different feel entirely, I wanted the bridge to feel more like the bridge of a cruise liner, as anyone who was going to use this vessel would probably hire a driver!
This ship includes:
- Bridge
- Lounge
- living quarters
- food preparation area (do not question the fact they use furnaces in space!!)
- Viewing area
Once again your comments and criticisms are extremely welcome!
Kind regards Phil
[EDIT: I build all my creations in flowsHD and Would recommend viewing in a shader pack also :) ]
