A Torch Tower Going Downwards

I have been building a red stone computer recently and have been using Pistons with red stone blocks on the end to send a red stone pulse downwards but it was faulty. I came up with this idea which is so simple it must of been come up with I searched YouTube I couldn't find it if it has been discovered before I am sorry for wasting your time and the credit should go to the right person if it hasn't I call it the TDGT torch downward going tower.

Have done more tests it can carry 1 tick pulses etc with less delay then Pistons with red stone blocks at the end of them

also some credit should go to the XenoFlux server as that is where I designed it.

Update: you will need to make a 2 tick delay with a repeater 2 bits of red stone dust before the torch tower if you wish to do a 1 tick pulse.

also it does have a delay.
