Abandoned mountains

Deep within the snow clad mountains of the north, lie the ruins of a once proud nordic community, but over the centuries of war and pillaging, their town was set ablaze. These are the ruines of the once proud community, which shall still contain countless battles.

This is my first submission, so everyone please tell me what you think, and any suggestions on how i can make my future posts even better.
