Yes Abysmal Adventure is now officially delayed from so many reasons.
I Egerion,as a creator and founder of Abysmal Adventure; i'm so sad and unpleasant to tell you that; yes Abysmal adventure is now officially delayed to unknown date.We stopped to working on Abysmal Adventure around 8 month and until now we might had some chance to recover the game for our fans who they really wanted to get the game on early alpha.
People always told us that they wanted to get half made game.But as we told you earlier;we don't really want to give you half made game.Its actually playable for a half of the game.But thats not really good experience i believe,no one wants to play a game that they know they wont be able to see the end.Which it was Stunning like Abysmal Adventure.
Its actually depends to so many reasons.Which one so critical that these are the main killers of the game.
First it was going to be a very big game and we needed to use many people to handle it.But we all have a jobs so we don't actually time for preparing a big teams,also it's very hard to find experienced builders for that such a big project that it must be perfect.Another reason is about story line arguments.There were many concepts ideas covered around us that it smother us and send us to big chaos.And lastly and one of the biggest reason:We started to build that map on minecraft v1.8.And even on these times 2011-2012 we knew we going to need a lot from the actual game itself.We had a close contacts from mojang.
We had a hope until now to get a right mod for a game which is it's going to be holder bone of the game.We are now on Minecraft v1.7.4 and still that mod didn't came yet.In that point i cannot give you any more information about what we are up to about that mod.
We are really sorry to let many people down.But let me tell you;we tryed our best.
Abysmal Adventure was a big experience for us and it seems we buried under it.There may be hope on the future term.Who knows maybe it died but concept of Abysmal Adventure would be come to you one day under a new name...
