Insta-carry adders are fast and compact, making them a great choice for your ALUs, CPUs, mini-games or whatever you can think up. In this tutorial I explain what an insta-carry adder is, why they're so efficient, and how to build one. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments section here or on the video! The world download also contains my 3.5 Tick for 8 Bits adder and will be used in my next tutorial.

At first I tested mine which turned out to be 3 ticks (inputting 11111111 on one input and toggling the first bit the other). But this adder has a none piston-based first XNOR (2 ticks), so this should be slower. So I also tested yours and got 2 ticks (+/-0.5 ticks, since I used repeaters to delay the input to match the output).
Could this be true, or can this adder have a longer delay when inputting other numbers?
