it started me off at a place that said "read note 18", and it was in creative mode... i'm guessing that wasn't supposed to be the case.

File Is nothing :/ when I put it in nothing showed up the file messed up fix it?

You have to open up the file you downloaded with a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip and then put the folder located inside the one you just opened into you "saves" folder in your .minecraft.
