Hello there, this is Dutchottie, one of the 2 owners of Aerathyll.
This is my first post on Planet Minecraft, so I might do a couple of things wrong. Note that my native tongue is not English so forgive any mistakes I make.
here goes:
My friend (TheVanquisher-X) and I started working on our server about 2 years ago on this Medieval world called Aerathyll. At that time we had 0 idea what we were doing and the result was, well... crappy.
Recently we decided to scrap the project and start again from sketch with our 1.5 years of experience.
As tribute we named our new world Aerathyll aswell.
We want this to ultimately become a (not too big) MMO Minecraft server. With quests, costumized mobs and a beautifull landscapes and builds.
We started the new project in August somewhere, but since we haven't had much time to work on it.
There will be some high-lights below the post. Any new pictures which come with Update logs will be marked with (Up#)
So say any pictures added with update 2 will be marked with (Up2)
We started from a flatland, so every block above or below the standard flatland level has been done by either of us.
He mostly did the big buildings and designed the Capital City, while I did big parts of the Terra-forming and story writing for the quest lines. I want to give him big props for the cathedral he made. Looks kinda epic!
Anyways, feel free to give your honest opinion. Tips are always welcome!

(oh and BTW we are using the Atherys Ascended resource pack. Based on the Conquest pack. Looks pretty awesome and works best with Optifine or MCPatcher

Update 2 already,
Both of us been working on the Vyxarus Royal Palace. It's coming along nicely I'd say.
We also worked on the mountains surrounding the city, but haven't made much progress. We haven't had that much time due to our studies.
In this update I will once again post some pictures of the progress on our Palace.
Previously there were some images on the frame. This update will include: Progress on both the wall and the roof. Even some basic gardening was added.
Also a little "selfie" screenshot made in the mountains around Vyx.
See you in the next update.
