My friend Zezimora and I decided we wanted to build something truly inspiring in MC. After some different ideas were thrown around, we decided to build a to-scale (as close to 1:1 as possible) theatre. We chose the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City, New York (information and pictures here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Hirschfeld_Theatre). For inside joke reasons, we named it "The Buck Stops Here Theatre" since it had some of our own flare to its design (see below).
This is our completed project! It took about 3 days of solid creative building to do it. The main lobby, upper lobby, and backstage areas were created by us since we couldn't find any pictures of those areas. The stage area itself was an attempt to recreate what the actual real-life theatre looks like.
God bless,
RRProclaim & Zezimora
