Alanium City
Epic Minecraft PVP

Introduction

Alanium City is foremost a PVP map series which will include attack/defend maps, "survival games", team deathmatchs, spleef and multiple mini-games. Features of this map have been in development since August 2011 and I am now at the stage where I can confidently start pushing this to be a full scale map series. There will also be a full scale map release.

Primary Goals:

- To Produce a flexible PVP map series that may be used for multiple PVP styles.
- Ability for players to interact with the map in order to best their opponents.
- Achieve an ideal map size vs number of players.
- All maps to relate to each other as part of a larger landscape.
- Small File Sizes for map to be open to as many people to play as possible.

Optional Goals:

- To introduce an additional "tekkit" PVP map series to utilize the many extra features tekkit now has.

Progress:

- Main Props and structures have been completed.
- Cornucopia & Spawn/Death Area Complete for Automated Server
- Server Configuration ready for testing.
- Segregating map into smaller maps not finished.
- Nether needs work!!!
- Map Transit completed.
- Cleaning up Unused chunks not complete.

More importantly I'm struggling to get my head around configuration, but will mostly be working on spawn modification for "control points"; as the attack/defend map is designed for the "attackers" to be able to conquer certain points in order to progress. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
