Nice organics- you should try less spotty colours on them :)

Thanks :) Too simple color do not need. Blurred colors look better.

I personally agree a bit more with Pearl and pancake here to be honest. The coloring isn't terrible per say but it definitely is not superb. Not trying to put anyone down but I think the thing you should focus on isn't coloring, but overall on how to accept criticism/suggestions. I've seen a lot of people have commented that you could make your projects better through better shading, and I agree. I don't think it's healthy to take criticism the way you are, since we are all just trying to help with our different views.
The way you shape and form your organics is very cool and I love it, but maybe a little further look into it could really make your organics stand out.

Hope to see more from you. At the end of the day, don't worry too much about opinion and make stuff that looks good to you. If you think you are doing great with your shading, more power to you :)

Thank you! I understand all this. Perhaps I too clearly expressed the answer in the answer above. I deleted this.
Yes, I do as I please. This is a quote from my comment "Well, yes, it's the same as arguing about which genre of music is better, everyone likes it in their own way"

There's certain types of colouring that really do work effectively. I can't speak for pancake, but I believe both of us are more referencing the detailed colouring, not necessarily the 'simple' type. Regardless, can't 'teach' someone that doesn't wish to be 'taught' or want knowledge of. As long as you are satisfied and happy, that is what matters.

Given, opinions are also different, and you have your own view. :) Keep up the passion.

uhm.. sorry but... WTH are you talking about?

the colouring on that beast is superb!
so... O_o

aside that, it is a purely imaginable species, which may had existed aeons ago and none who lives today can tell how it looked like. so complaining here about some colouring is quite off.

btw. it's interesting behavior to come to someone else's project, to tell your opinion, and when the author tells his opinion, you strike back at him with: "can't 'teach' someone that doesn't wish to be 'taught' or want knowledge of"...
IIRC such behavior has it's own diagnosis

I wasn't trying to be rude. It appears to have come off wrong to you.

I was merely mentioning that he doesn't want to know about the method because he doesn't like it that much, hence the punctuation around the word.

It's like someone saying to me 'you could try out more structure', to which I just say 'I don't want to make structure'. That's me saying I don't want to be 'taught' the methods they use. This is the same thing. It's merely another method of colouring that Roman does not want to try or know about; and I respect that decision. His works just fine.

Please don't take my comment as a bash of negativity, because it is not.
This was more like a reconfirmation that everyone has different opinions, and it is in the right to respect each other. Roman has agreed, as you can read below.
