I have been planning to build a very large, fully-featured city in Minecraft for a long time. So, this is one of the templates that I'll be using for my airport. Enjoy!

THE OUTSIDE is nearly perfect 1:1 scale.
Because the walls of a real 747 are far less than 1 meter thick and because the minimum thickness of a wall in Minecraft is 1 meter, however, the inside is smaller than it should be.
Now, with that out of the way, if you still believe the outside is not to the proper scale, then you are ignorant and there is nothing that I can do to help you. The first thing I did before building even a single block of the plane was to set up guides of the proper length for every part of the plane. I guarantee that it is 1:1 on the outside because I literally spent like an hour verifying that.
