Araiyah

Bound by a curse, Araiyah lives underwater, shackled by the tide and masked by the animals of her characteristics, each differently restrictive.

The curse of Araiyah holds her captive in a body of power with which she can do nothing. In a past life, flaunting her beauty and wealth, she surpassed the tolerance of the Animal queen. The Queen cursed Araiyah to live with uniquely perfect flaws to teach her to control her hubris.

During her captivity, Araiyah has attracted many friends that come and go including minnows, sea stars, and jellyfish. Her true companion, Myrtle, is a Pegaseahorse, bound by a similar curse of the seahorse and pegasus. Both ugly in their own perfection, they make the ultimate team of mythical hybrids.
